Bag Filter Dust Collector
Bag Filter Dust Collector is an industrial filtration system that uses fabric filter bags to remove dust and particulate matter from contaminated air and process gas. It is suitable for production processes where solid particles are generated during material handling, crushing, grinding, mixing, drying, combustion, and other operations.
Dust-laden gas enters the collector through the inlet and is directed into the filtration chamber. The airflow passes through the filter bags, allowing clean gas to pass through the filter media while dust particles are retained on the bag surfaces.
As dust accumulates, a filter cake forms on the bags and the pressure differential gradually increases. A cleaning system removes the accumulated material at controlled intervals. Depending on the equipment configuration, pulse-jet, reverse-air, or other cleaning methods can be used.
The separated dust falls into the lower hopper and is discharged through a rotary airlock valve, screw conveyor, pneumatic conveying system, or other suitable equipment. The discharge arrangement can be selected according to dust properties and the requirements of the production process.
Filter bag material is selected according to gas temperature, humidity, chemical composition, particle size, concentration, and abrasion characteristics. Polyester, PPS, aramid, fiberglass, PTFE-coated, and other filter media can be used for different industrial conditions.
The bag filter dust collector can be configured as a compact single-unit collector or a larger multi-compartment system. Housing dimensions, filter bag quantity, filtration area, inlet and outlet arrangement, hopper structure, and cleaning system can be adjusted according to the required airflow and installation conditions.
