Baghouse Dust Collector
Baghouse Dust Collector is an industrial dust filtration system that uses fabric filter bags to separate particulate matter from dust-laden air and process gas. It is designed for applications requiring continuous collection of fine and coarse dust generated during industrial production and material handling.
The dust collector consists of a filtration housing divided into dirty-air and clean-air sections. Dust-laden gas enters through the inlet and is distributed across the filter bags. As the gas passes through the filter media, dust particles are retained on the bag surfaces while cleaned air flows into the clean-air chamber.
A layer of collected dust gradually forms on the filter bags during operation. When the pressure differential reaches the required level, the cleaning system removes the accumulated material from the bags. Pulse-jet cleaning is commonly used, while other cleaning methods can be selected for specific operating conditions.
The removed dust falls into the hopper beneath the filtration chamber. A rotary airlock valve, screw conveyor, pneumatic conveying system, or other discharge equipment can be used to transfer the collected material.
The baghouse configuration can be selected according to airflow volume, dust concentration, particle size, gas temperature, humidity, chemical composition, and installation conditions. Filter bag quantity, bag length, filtration area, housing dimensions, hopper capacity, and inlet and outlet positions can be configured accordingly.
Different filter media are available for different industrial environments. Polyester, PPS, aramid, fiberglass, PTFE-coated, and other materials can be selected according to temperature resistance, chemical compatibility, moisture conditions, and dust characteristics.
For larger dust collection systems, multiple filtration compartments can be arranged within a single housing. The baghouse can also be integrated with extraction hoods, process ductwork, fans, dampers, dust discharge equipment, and automatic monitoring and control systems.
