Baghouse Dust Collector is a fabric filtration system used to collect dust and particulate matter from industrial air and process gas. A typical baghouse consists of a housing, filter bags, filter bag cages, dirty-air chamber, clean-air chamber, pulse cleaning system, dust hopper, and discharge equipment. The configuration can be selected according to airflow volume, dust concentration, gas temperature, particle characteristics, and installation requirements.

Dust-laden gas enters the filtration chamber and passes through the filter bags. Dust particles are retained on the outer surfaces of the bags while filtered air moves into the clean-air chamber and exits through the outlet.

As dust accumulates on the filter bags, the pressure differential increases. A pulse-jet cleaning system releases short bursts of compressed air to remove the deposited dust. The separated material falls into the hopper and is discharged through a rotary airlock valve, screw conveyor, pneumatic conveying system, or other suitable equipment.
