Industrial Bag Filter

Industrial Bag Filter is a fabric filtration unit used to separate dust and particulate matter from industrial air and process gas. It uses filter bags as the primary filtration elements and can be configured for different airflow volumes, dust concentrations, gas temperatures, and process conditions.

Dust-laden gas enters the filter chamber through the inlet and flows toward the filter bags. As the gas passes through the filter media, suspended particles are retained on the bag surfaces while filtered air moves into the clean-air chamber.

During operation, the accumulated dust layer gradually increases the pressure differential across the filter bags. A pulse-jet cleaning system can release compressed-air pulses to remove the deposited material. The detached dust falls into the hopper and is discharged through a suitable dust handling device.

The filter bags can be manufactured from different materials according to the characteristics of the gas and dust. Polyester, PPS, aramid, fiberglass, PTFE-coated, and other filter media can be selected according to temperature, humidity, chemical composition, particle size, and abrasion conditions.

Industrial Bag Filters can be arranged as single-compartment or multi-compartment units. The number and length of filter bags, filtration area, chamber dimensions, hopper design, and cleaning configuration can be selected according to the required airflow and available installation space.

The filtration unit can operate as an individual dust collection device or as part of a complete industrial ventilation system. It can be connected to extraction hoods, process ducts, fans, dampers, dust discharge equipment, and automatic control systems.

Working Process

1. Dust-laden gas enters the filter housing.

2. Gas flows through the filter bags.

3. Particulate matter is retained on the filter surfaces.

4. Cleaned air enters the clean-air chamber.

5. Pressure differential is monitored.

6. Pulse cleaning removes accumulated dust.

7. Dust falls into the hopper for collection and discharge.
