Industrial Baghouse Dust Collector
Industrial Baghouse Dust Collector is a fabric filtration system designed to remove dust and particulate matter from industrial air and process gas. It is used in production environments where dust is generated continuously during material processing, combustion, conveying, grinding, crushing, mixing, or other industrial operations.
The system separates contaminated gas into a dirty-air section and a clean-air section through filter bags. Dust-laden air enters the collector and flows through the filter bags. Particles are retained on the filtration surfaces, while cleaned air passes into the clean-air chamber and leaves through the outlet.
As the collected dust layer becomes thicker, the resistance of the filter bags increases. A cleaning system removes accumulated dust to maintain the required airflow. Pulse-jet cleaning is commonly used for applications requiring continuous operation, while other cleaning arrangements can be selected according to the process conditions.
The separated dust falls into the hopper below the filtration chamber. Depending on the material and plant layout, the hopper can be connected to a rotary airlock valve, screw conveyor, pneumatic conveying system, or other dust discharge equipment.
Industrial baghouse systems can be configured with different filter bag materials, bag lengths, quantities, filtration areas, chamber arrangements, and hopper designs. Filter media selection should consider gas temperature, humidity, chemical composition, particle size, dust concentration, and abrasion characteristics.
For large industrial installations, multiple filtration compartments can be combined into one baghouse system. The equipment can also be integrated with extraction hoods, ductwork, induced draft fans, dampers, dust conveying equipment, and automatic monitoring and control systems.
