Large Baghouse Dust Collector
Large Baghouse Dust Collector is an industrial fabric filtration system designed for high-volume dust collection in large production facilities. It uses multiple filter bags and a large filtration chamber to handle substantial quantities of dust-laden air from continuous industrial processes.
Dust-containing gas enters the inlet chamber and is distributed across multiple filtration sections. The filter bags capture particulate matter on their outer surfaces while cleaned gas flows into the clean-air chamber and is discharged through the outlet.
For large-scale systems, multiple filter compartments can be arranged within one baghouse. This configuration allows the filtration area and number of filter bags to be increased according to the required airflow capacity. Individual compartments can also be isolated for inspection or maintenance when the system design permits.
As dust accumulates on the filter bags, the pressure differential increases. A pulse-jet cleaning system uses compressed-air pulses to clean the filter bags and maintain the required airflow. The released dust falls into the lower hoppers and is transferred through the dust discharge system.
Large baghouses can be configured with multiple hoppers, rotary airlock valves, screw conveyors, or pneumatic conveying systems. The inlet and outlet arrangement, filter bag dimensions, chamber layout, and structural design can be adapted to the plant layout and process requirements.
For high-temperature or chemically aggressive gas, appropriate filter media and construction materials can be selected according to gas temperature, moisture, chemical composition, dust concentration, and particle characteristics.
The system can be integrated with large industrial ventilation networks, process extraction equipment, induced draft fans, material conveying systems, and automatic monitoring and control equipment.
