Pulse Jet Bag Filter

Pulse Jet Bag Filter is an industrial fabric filtration system that uses filter bags and compressed-air pulse cleaning to remove dust and particulate matter from process air and exhaust gas. The pulse-jet cleaning method allows accumulated dust to be removed from the filter bags without stopping the filtration process.

Dust-laden gas enters the filter chamber and is distributed around the filter bags. As the gas passes through the filter media, dust particles are retained on the outer surfaces of the bags while cleaned air flows into the clean-air chamber.

During continuous operation, the dust layer on the filter bags gradually increases and causes a rise in pressure differential. The pulse cleaning system activates the corresponding cleaning valves and releases short bursts of compressed air into the filter bags. The resulting reverse airflow and bag movement detach accumulated dust from the filtration surfaces.

The separated dust falls into the hopper and can be discharged through a rotary airlock valve, screw conveyor, pneumatic conveying system, or other suitable equipment. Cleaning intervals can be controlled according to differential pressure, operating time, or a preset sequence.

Different filter bag materials can be selected according to gas temperature, humidity, chemical composition, particle size, and dust characteristics. Polyester, PPS, aramid, fiberglass, PTFE-coated, and other filter media are available for different operating conditions.

The Pulse Jet Bag Filter can be designed with different numbers and lengths of filter bags, filtration areas, chamber arrangements, hopper capacities, and dust discharge configurations. It can be used as an individual dust collector or integrated into a centralized industrial dust collection system.

Pulse Cleaning Process

1. Dust-laden gas enters the filter chamber.
