Cartridge Dust Collector
Cartridge Dust Collector is a dry dust filtration device that uses pleated filter cartridges to separate particulate matter from industrial air and process gas. The pleated structure provides a large filtration surface within a compact housing.
Dust-laden air enters the collector and is distributed through the filtration chamber. As the gas passes through the filter cartridges, dust particles are retained on the outer filtration surface while the filtered air flows into the clean-air chamber and exits through the outlet.
During operation, dust gradually accumulates on the cartridge surfaces. As the pressure differential increases, the pulse cleaning system releases short bursts of compressed air to remove the deposited dust. The detached particles fall into the hopper or collection container below the filtration chamber.
Different cartridge filter media can be selected according to dust characteristics, gas temperature, humidity, and chemical conditions. Common media include cellulose, polyester, spunbond polyester, PTFE-coated materials, and other filter materials suitable for specific applications.
The collector can be configured with different numbers and arrangements of filter cartridges. Housing dimensions, air inlet direction, hopper structure, cleaning system, and discharge equipment can be selected according to the required airflow and installation conditions.
Selection should consider airflow volume, dust concentration, particle size, gas temperature, humidity, filter media, pressure drop, and required cleaning frequency.
