Catalytic Combustion Waste Gas Treatment Equipment
Catalytic Combustion Waste Gas Treatment Equipment
Catalytic Combustion Waste Gas Treatment Equipment is designed for the treatment of exhaust gases containing combustible organic compounds. It uses a catalyst to facilitate oxidation reactions under controlled thermal conditions, allowing suitable pollutants in the gas stream to be converted into simpler compounds.
The waste gas enters through the inlet duct and passes through a pretreatment section when particulate matter, oil mist, or other catalyst-sensitive substances are present. After preliminary treatment, the gas is heated to the temperature required for the catalytic reaction.
The heated gas then flows through the catalytic reactor. Inside the catalyst bed, organic compounds come into contact with the active catalyst surface and react with oxygen. The reaction conditions are affected by gas temperature, flow rate, pollutant concentration, oxygen content, humidity, and contact time.
A heat exchanger may be installed between the treated gas and incoming exhaust stream. Thermal energy from the outlet gas can be transferred to the inlet gas, reducing the additional heating requirement during continuous operation.
The equipment can include temperature sensors, pressure monitoring points, flow control components, and an electrical control system. These components are used to monitor the operating condition of the treatment process and coordinate the heating and gas flow.
Catalyst selection and reactor dimensions are determined according to the composition and concentration of the waste gas. Pretreatment requirements also depend on dust content, oil mist, moisture, and other substances that may affect catalyst activity.
