Industrial Catalytic Combustion Equipment
Industrial Catalytic Combustion Equipment
Industrial Catalytic Combustion Equipment is used to treat exhaust gases containing combustible organic substances through a controlled catalytic oxidation process. The equipment provides a defined gas flow path, heating zone, and catalytic reaction area for the treatment of suitable industrial process emissions.
The gas enters through the inlet and is directed through a conditioning section before reaching the reactor. Depending on the exhaust characteristics, filtration, cooling, moisture control, or other pretreatment may be required to protect the catalyst and maintain stable operating conditions.
A heating section brings the incoming gas to the temperature required for catalytic oxidation. The gas then passes through the catalyst bed, where the catalyst provides active surfaces for the reaction between organic compounds and oxygen.
The reactor can use different catalyst arrangements and flow configurations according to the gas volume and composition. Catalyst selection is influenced by the target compounds, concentration, operating temperature, humidity, oxygen level, and the presence of substances that may reduce catalyst activity.
Heat management is an important part of the equipment design. A heat exchanger can transfer energy from the treated gas to the incoming stream, while additional heating components maintain the required temperature during startup or changing operating conditions.
Monitoring devices can be installed to measure temperature, pressure, airflow, and other process parameters. These measurements are used to control gas movement and maintain the specified catalytic reaction conditions.
