Ash Humidifier

Ash Humidifier is a material conditioning device used to add a controlled amount of water to dry ash before discharge, storage, or transportation. It is commonly installed below dust collection and ash handling equipment to reduce the release of dry particles during material transfer.

Dry ash enters the humidification chamber through the feeding inlet and comes into contact with water introduced through spray nozzles or a controlled water distribution system. Rotating mixing elements move the material through the chamber while distributing moisture across the ash. The treated material leaves through the discharge outlet at a controlled moisture level.

The humidification process can be adjusted according to ash characteristics, material flow rate, initial moisture content, and required handling conditions. Water addition and mixing intensity are important parameters for achieving uniform conditioning without excessive water consumption.

Ash Humidifiers can be used with baghouse dust collectors, electrostatic precipitators, boilers, power generation systems, cement processing equipment, and other facilities that produce dry ash or fine particulate residues.
