Chain Bucket Elevator

Chain Bucket Elevator is a vertical conveying machine used to lift bulk materials from a lower feeding point to a higher discharge position. It combines a continuous chain drive with a series of buckets that carry materials upward inside an enclosed casing.

The buckets are mounted at fixed intervals on one or more strands of conveyor chain. As the chain moves around the head and tail sprockets, the buckets travel through the vertical casing, receive material at the loading section, and discharge it at the upper section. The enclosed structure helps control material movement during vertical transportation.

The conveying capacity and operating configuration depend on bucket volume, bucket spacing, chain speed, material density, lifting height, and feeding conditions. Different bucket shapes and chain arrangements can be selected for granular, powdered, and other bulk materials.
