Dust Humidifier

Dust Humidifier is a material conditioning machine used to introduce a controlled amount of water into dry dust during collection, discharge, and handling processes. It changes the physical condition of loose dust by increasing its moisture content, helping reduce airborne particles during subsequent transportation or disposal.

Dry dust enters the conditioning chamber through a feeding inlet, where water is distributed across the material. Internal mixing blades continuously move and agitate the dust to promote contact between the particles and water. The conditioned material is then discharged through the outlet for conveying, storage, or further processing.

Water flow and mixing conditions can be adjusted according to dust properties, material throughput, particle size, initial moisture content, and the required final condition. Proper moisture distribution is important for preventing excessive dry dust while avoiding unnecessary water addition.

Dust Humidifiers can be installed below dust collectors, hoppers, silos, and other powder handling equipment. They are applicable to cement dust, mineral powder, industrial residues, fly ash, furnace dust, and other dry particulate materials.
