Screw Auger Conveyor

Screw Auger Conveyor is a mechanical conveying device that uses a rotating auger to move bulk materials through a trough or enclosed tube. The rotating screw flight generates axial movement, transferring material from the loading area toward a designated discharge point.

The conveyor can be configured with a horizontal or inclined conveying path according to the process layout. A trough-type structure provides access to the conveying section, while a tubular housing can be used where a more enclosed material transfer route is required.

Different auger designs can be selected according to the characteristics of the conveyed material. Flight diameter, pitch, shaft configuration, rotational speed, and conveyor length influence the material flow rate and conveying behavior. Multiple inlet and outlet positions can also be incorporated into a conveying line when required.

Screw Auger Conveyors are suitable for powders, granules, pellets, and other bulk materials. They are commonly used for material transfer in cement processing, agriculture, chemical production, mineral handling, food processing, waste treatment, and industrial production lines.
