Screw Conveyor

Screw Conveyor is a mechanical material handling device that transports bulk materials through the rotational movement of a screw flight. The conveying assembly is positioned inside a trough or casing, allowing materials to move steadily from an inlet toward one or more discharge points.

The basic structure consists of a screw shaft, flights, housing, drive unit, inlet, and outlet. As the screw rotates, the flights engage with the material and produce forward movement along the conveyor. The conveying direction and material flow can be controlled through the arrangement of the drive and discharge sections.

Screw Conveyors can be designed with different shaft diameters, flight pitches, rotation speeds, lengths, and housing configurations.
