Vertical Bucket Elevator

Vertical Bucket Elevator is a mechanical conveying system used to transfer bulk materials between different elevations within a relatively compact installation area. It uses a series of buckets attached to a moving belt or chain to carry material upward through a vertical casing.

The elevator consists of a feeding section, vertical casing, buckets, traction component, drive assembly, tensioning section, and discharge outlet. Material enters at the lower section and is loaded into the buckets. The buckets move upward along the casing and release the material at the designated discharge point before returning to the loading area.

Vertical Bucket Elevators can be configured for different material characteristics and conveying requirements. Parameters such as bucket volume, spacing, belt or chain speed, lifting height, and discharge arrangement affect the overall conveying capacity and operating conditions.

The equipment is suitable for transporting powders, granules, pellets, and other dry bulk materials. Common applications include cement and building materials, grain processing, fertilizer handling, mineral processing, chemical production, coal handling, and other industrial material conveying systems.
