Flue Gas Treatment System
Flue Gas Treatment System
Flue Gas Treatment System is an integrated process used to treat exhaust gas generated by combustion, heating, and industrial production processes. The system can combine different treatment stages according to the pollutants contained in the flue gas and the operating conditions of the process.
The treatment line may begin with particulate removal to separate fly ash, dust, and other solid particles from the gas stream. Depending on the gas composition, additional stages can be arranged for sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, acid gases, or other pollutants.
Desulfurization units can use wet, dry, or semi-dry processes to transfer sulfur compounds from the gas phase into a liquid or solid reaction product. DeNOx equipment can use selective catalytic reduction, selective non-catalytic reduction, or other suitable processes to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions.
Gas cooling, conditioning, heat exchange, and droplet separation can be incorporated between different treatment stages. Fans and ductwork maintain the required gas flow through the system, while monitoring instruments measure temperature, pressure, flow, and selected pollutant concentrations.
The system configuration is determined by flue gas volume, temperature, dust concentration, SO₂ and NOx levels, gas moisture, chemical composition, and the required treatment sequence. Different treatment units can be arranged in series according to the characteristics of the emission source.
