Round Filter Cage

Round Filter Cage is a cylindrical support component used inside filter bags in fabric dust collection systems. Its circular framework provides an internal supporting structure that keeps the filter bag open during airflow and filtration.

The cage is formed by longitudinal support wires connected with horizontal rings. The spacing between the rings and the number of vertical wires determine the cage geometry and mechanical support. The upper section can be fitted with different connection arrangements for installation into the tube sheet, while the lower end can use various support configurations according to the dust collector design.

Round Filter Cages are available in different diameters and lengths to correspond with filter bag dimensions. The wire material and surface finish can be selected according to temperature, humidity, corrosion exposure, and other operating conditions. Common options include carbon steel, galvanized wire, stainless steel, and coated surfaces.

During pulse jet cleaning, the cage remains inside the filter bag and provides the support required for repeated expansion and contraction of the fabric. Proper dimensional matching between the filter bag, cage, and dust collector helps maintain the intended filtration arrangement.
