Dust Filter Cloth

Dust Filter Cloth is a textile filtration medium used to separate dust particles from air and industrial gas streams. It forms the filtering surface in fabric-based dust collection equipment and can be manufactured from different synthetic or technical fibers according to the operating environment.

The filtration performance is influenced by fiber diameter, yarn arrangement, fabric structure, thickness, weight, and air permeability. When dust-laden air passes through the cloth, particles are retained by the filtration layer while the gas continues through the material.

Common filter media include polyester, polypropylene, PPS, aramid, fiberglass, PTFE, and other technical fabrics. Material selection depends on gas temperature, humidity, chemical composition, dust concentration, particle size, and the cleaning method used by the filtration equipment.

Dust Filter Cloth can be produced as woven fabric, needle-punched felt, or other textile filtration structures. Surface treatments may be applied to modify characteristics such as dust release, water resistance, oil resistance, or particle retention.

The material is used in fabric dust collectors, filter bags, filtration panels, and other industrial air filtration applications.
