Dust Filter Cartridge

Dust Filter Cartridge is a cylindrical filter element used to remove dust and particulate matter from contaminated air streams. Its pleated filtration media creates an extended filtering surface within a compact cartridge, making it suitable for dust removal equipment with limited installation space.

The cartridge is formed by wrapping or pleating filter media around a supporting core. End caps and sealing components maintain the cartridge shape and provide a connection between the filter element and the equipment housing. During filtration, dusty air passes through the media while solid particles are retained on the filtration surface.

Filter media can be selected according to the type of dust and operating environment. Polyester, cellulose, synthetic fiber blends, spunbond media, and PTFE-coated materials are used for different filtration requirements. Factors such as particle size, dust concentration, humidity, temperature, and chemical exposure should be considered when selecting the media.

Dust Filter Cartridges can be cleaned by compressed-air pulses or other suitable methods. The pleat depth, media area, cartridge diameter, length, and end-cap configuration can be specified according to the structure of the dust collection equipment.
