Sintered Plate Dust Collector
Sintered Plate Dust Collector
Sintered Plate Dust Collector is an industrial dust filtration unit that uses rigid sintered filter plates to separate particulate matter from process air and exhaust gas. The filter plates are installed inside the collector housing and provide a porous filtration surface for continuous dust collection.
Dust-laden gas enters the collection chamber and is distributed around the sintered plates. As the gas passes through the porous filter material, dust particles are retained on the filtration surface while the cleaned air enters the clean-air chamber and leaves through the outlet.
During operation, the collected dust gradually forms a layer on the filter plates. When the pressure differential increases to the specified level, the pulse cleaning system releases compressed air into the cleaning manifold. The reverse airflow dislodges the accumulated dust from the plate surfaces.
The released dust falls into the hopper at the bottom of the collector and is discharged through a suitable dust handling device. Depending on the process requirements, the discharge outlet can be connected to a rotary airlock valve, screw conveyor, or other conveying equipment.
The collector can be configured with different numbers and arrangements of sintered filter plates. Housing dimensions, inlet and outlet positions, hopper design, cleaning sequence, and filtration area can be selected according to the required airflow and installation conditions.
Selection of the sintered plate dust collector should consider airflow volume, dust concentration, particle size, gas temperature, humidity, chemical composition, pressure drop, and cleaning requirements.
