Ventilation Butterfly Valve

Ventilation Butterfly Valve is a flow control device used to regulate or isolate air and gas movement in ventilation and industrial duct systems. Its circular disc rotates around a central shaft to change the open area inside the duct, allowing the airflow to be adjusted or stopped.

The valve body is installed between duct sections or at designated air inlets and outlets. When the disc is aligned with the airflow, the passage is open. Rotating the disc changes the available flow area, while a fully rotated position can close the passage.

The valve can be operated manually or connected to pneumatic or electric actuators when remote or automated control is required. The body, disc, shaft, and sealing components can be selected according to air temperature, pressure, gas composition, and duct material.

Ventilation Butterfly Valves are used in industrial ventilation systems, dust collection equipment, air ducts, exhaust systems, gas conveying lines, and process air handling equipment. Different nominal diameters and connection configurations can be selected to match the duct layout.
