Wet Electrostatic Precipitator Supplier
Wet Electrostatic Precipitator Supplier
Wet Electrostatic Precipitator is designed for the removal of fine particulate matter, acid mist, oil mist, liquid droplets, and other suspended contaminants from industrial gas streams. It uses an electrostatic field together with a wet cleaning process to collect and remove pollutants.
Contaminated gas enters the precipitator and passes through the discharge and collecting electrode area. A high-voltage power supply generates an electrical field between the electrodes. Fine particles and droplets become electrically charged and are driven toward the collecting surfaces.
Unlike dry electrostatic precipitators, the collecting surfaces of a Wet ESP are cleaned with water or another suitable washing liquid. The liquid flows over the collecting electrodes and carries the deposited contaminants into the drainage section. This helps control the accumulation of sticky or wet materials on the electrode surfaces.
The equipment can use tubular or plate-type collecting electrodes. Discharge electrodes are positioned within the collecting area to maintain the required electrical field. Gas distribution structures are used to provide relatively uniform airflow through the treatment zone.
A complete Wet Electrostatic Precipitator may include a housing, discharge electrodes, collecting electrodes, high-voltage power supply, washing system, water circulation components, drainage system, insulators, and electrical controls.
Equipment selection depends on gas volume, pollutant concentration, particle size, mist characteristics, gas temperature, moisture content, corrosive components, and required treatment conditions.
