Industrial Wet Electrostatic Precipitator

Industrial Wet Electrostatic Precipitator is an electrostatic gas cleaning device designed for industrial exhaust streams containing fine particulate matter, acid mist, oil mist, and liquid droplets. It uses an electrical field to collect suspended contaminants and a liquid washing process to remove deposits from the collecting surfaces.

The contaminated gas enters the precipitator through the inlet and passes through the gas distribution section. Inside the collection chamber, discharge electrodes generate an electrical field between the discharge and collecting electrodes. Fine particles and droplets become electrically charged and migrate toward the collecting surfaces.

The collected material is removed by a water washing system. Washing liquid flows over the collecting electrodes and carries accumulated particles and mist into the lower drainage section. This cleaning method is suitable for wet, sticky, or corrosive contaminants that may be difficult to handle with dry collection equipment.

Industrial Wet Electrostatic Precipitators can use tubular or plate-type collecting electrodes. The electrode material and housing construction are selected according to gas temperature, moisture, acidity, chemical composition, and other operating conditions.

The gas distribution structure is designed according to the required airflow volume and internal chamber dimensions. Electrical parameters, electrode spacing, gas velocity, washing flow, and residence time affect the collection process and operating pressure.

The equipment can be installed as an independent treatment unit or combined with scrubbers, desulfurization equipment, dust collectors, gas cooling systems, or other industrial emission control equipment.

Working Process

  1. Industrial exhaust gas enters the Wet ESP.

  2. Gas is distributed through the collection chamber.

  3. Suspended particles and droplets are electrically charged.

  4. Charged contaminants migrate toward the collecting electrodes.

  5. Washing liquid removes accumulated material.

  6. Contaminated liquid flows into the drainage section.

  7. Treated gas leaves through the outlet.
